Chiang, Lin
Curator & Strategy Lead
Chiang, Lin is the Curator and Strategy Lead of TEDxNangan. He approaches curation as the design of an intellectual journey, not simply placing speakers in sequence, but composing questions, perspectives, rhythm and emotion so that experiences unfamiliar to one another can form meaningful connections within a shared space.
His architectural training shapes the way he reads the world: identifying questions through structure, understanding relationships between people and place through scale, and using absence to make room for perspectives that have yet to be heard. For him, aesthetics is not merely a matter of form. It is how an idea comes to be felt, understood and remembered.
Beyond TEDxNangan, he directs the Mei Stone Translatio Scheme in Matsu, where he explores how historically complex spaces can become sites for contemporary creation, public dialogue and the development of emerging artists. This practice underlies his curatorial approach: beginning with situated experience, resisting premature answers, and designing a path through which questions can unfold and different lives can illuminate one another.
At TEDxNangan, his purpose is not to speak on behalf of an island, but to bring questions formed through island life into a wider conversation with the world.
